What were some of the things about that attracted you to JIG-SAW and led to your decision join?
My motto when job hunting was “How much does this interest and excite me?” When I was a student, I tried many new things that I had no knowledge of, such as break dancing, which is my current hobby. I participated in a JIG-SAW information session and I was very interested to hear about the world of IT and IoT, as I was not very familiar with it. Also, I was very excited about JIG-SAW’s future vision, the lively and confident expression of the employees I met during the briefing sessions and interviews, the expectations for the IoT business, and the vision of the world as a company. These are the main reasons why I decided to join.
Please describe the department you belong to and the work that you do.
I mainly work on developing and expanding the function of “puzzle”, an automated-operation platform that is part of the internal system of JIG-SAW. Although there are still a lot of difficult tasks because I am still relatively new, I work every day with the help of senior employees who are skilled in specialized fields. In addition, important tasks can be entrusted to you regardless of how long you have worked here, and new knowledge and techniques are acquired every day because it is a stimulating environment.
What kind of career advancement do you see for yourself in the future?
My goal is to deepen my understanding of in-house systems and acquire skills to the level where I can work by myself. In addition, I would like to gain a broader perspective working while considering how to build and optimize a system for the future. I would like to be conscious of all of the aspects of issues at hand while working, and I would like to be an employee that can positively influence the company by actively communicating within the team.
